HFD Logistics (QW Express), a growing freight company based in Nicholasville, Kentucky, is looking for an Outside Sales Rep

To provide transportation and logistics solutions for small to medium sized businesses throughout the St. Louis region and surrounding counties. (Must be a resident in the defined area or be close enough to travel to work the area.)

  • Surface Forwarding

  • International Mail
  • Ocean Forwarding
  • Logistics Services
  • Procurement
  • Trade Show and Exhibition Management



Responsibilities include:

  • Research market trends and develop business/sales plans
  • Source and cultivate business relationship into long term clients
  • Close opportunities by explaining our transportation services and capacity, overcoming objects and satisfying transportation needs
  • Conduct proper due diligences on all service providers
  • Trace and track each shipment via check calls, LDI’s dispatch software and on-line load tracking
  • Use exp and/or continued education to grow personally and professionally

Job Requirements:
  • Established customer base
  • 2-3 yrs experience in transportation or 1 yr of direct freight brokerage experience
  • Self motivated with entrepreneurial personality
  • Strong attention to details
  • Service minded with good follow up
  • Strong sales and marketing background
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills
  • Proven ability to solve problems while handling multiple tasks
  • excellent network skills
  • Good negotiating skills
