Job Description:
As a Bond Underwriter in our Indiana office, you will team with our agents to write a profitable, quality book of business. This includes selecting, pricing and monitoring risk while maintaining quality business relationships. You will assure policy coverage in compliance with established underwriting guidelines. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related professional work experience; Financial background/understanding of basic financial reporting; Excellent communication and computer skills; Above average negotiation, sales, and marketing skills
Requirements: Review submissions and offer quotation; Agent visits, state insurance conventions and company meetings; Review agent’s request for cancellation, endorsements or other correspondence; Service existing accounts; Surety bond underwriting.
