General Comments:

Our client is one of the largest producers of carbon steel products in the U.S. They have an immediate opening within their Rolling Mill Division for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. This position is open due to an internal promotion. This is a great opportunity with a growing company who offers competitive salaries, solid benefits and training. To be considered for this position the targeted candidate must have a BSEE or BSEET. Steel production experience is not required but desired. Candidates must be self directed and skilled in innovative problem solving and trouble shooting. Good communication and team building skills a must. In this position candidates must be familiar with Microsoft Office products, AutoCad, Allen Bradley PLC5, ControlLogix, GE UC2000, GE Fanuc 90/70 and GE PAX RX7i. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for: 1. Developing and implementing preventive maintenance procedures 2. Hire, train and supervise electrical maintenance personnel 3. Plan & organize maintenance shutdowns 4. Support all Rolling Mill PLC Programming 5. Support local area networks and communication systems 6. Support Rolling Mill DC & AC drives 7. Plan & execute mill projects
